How do I delete my account?

From your account settings. It's your call and you don't have to give a reason.

What has to finish first

Anything with money in it. If somebody has paid for something you haven't handed over, that's an obligation to another person and it has to reach its end before the account can go.

What we keep, and why

The paperwork a completed sale leaves behind: what was sold, what it cost, and the donation receipt. That last one is the reason. Somebody may need it for a tax return next April, and a receipt that disappears because the other side closed their account isn't a receipt.
