How does selling something work?

Updated September 5, 2026

Take a photo and the listing writes itself: a title, a description, a category, a condition and a suggested price. You change anything you disagree with before it goes up.

  1. Photograph it. You'll see what was read off the item and what was worked out from its shape.
  2. Pick who the proceeds support, if anyone. It comes out of your share, and giving nothing is a normal answer.
  3. Say how you'll hand it over — porch pickup, an in-person meetup at your home, or a public spot you choose.
  4. Publish. Everything gets screened before anyone can see it.
  5. When it sells, agree a day and hand it over.

What it costs

We take 15%, card processing comes off what's left, and the rest is yours. On a $100 sale you keep about $82.

Before we can pay you

You need a payout account connected. You can list and sell without one — the money just waits, and lands the moment the account can take it.
