Who can see my address?

Your exact address and map coordinates are shown to two people at most: you, and the buyer whose payment is holding on the item — and when that buyer gets it depends on how you chose to hand over. Everybody else sees the city and state, including signed-in people browsing the listing.

Tapping Buy Now soft-locks an item for 15 minutes while checkout is completed. That reservation does not reveal the address — only a buyer who has actually authorized payment can.

The platform never discloses your address on its own. It is your address only if you chose Porch pickup or an In Person Meetup at your home, and choosing either asks you to acknowledge in as many words that it will be shared with your buyer. If there is no address on your profile, neither can be published.

For Porch pickup the buyer sees your city, the agreed day and the time window, and nothing more, until you take the drop-off photo. The photo is what opens the porch: the street reaches them with it, so nobody turns up before there is anything on the step.

For an In Person Meetup at your home the street reaches the buyer once a pickup day is agreed, because that is where you are meeting and they have to find the house.

For a Public In Person Meetup the pickup location is the public spot you picked. It is never filled in from your profile, and the agreed spot stays between the buyer and the seller rather than appearing on the public listing.
