What is the drop-off photo for on a porch pickup?

A porch drop-off is marked by the seller with a photo, and the photo is required. There is no way to mark a drop-off without one.
The photo is not stored publicly. Only the buyer of that deal, the seller who took it, and an admin reviewing a reported problem can see it.
Your phone's location is recorded alongside the photo when it is available and compared against the listing's own location. It is evidence, never a gate. A fix more than 150 metres away, or no fix at all, is written down for a person to weigh if the deal is ever disputed — it does not block the drop-off. Phone GPS under a porch roof is noisy, and the platform treats it that way. Turning location off means a photo without a location, not a blocked sale.
The buyer is notified the moment the drop-off is marked, and the photo appears on the deal screen. So does your street: until the photo, a porch buyer sees your city, the agreed day and the window, and no address. The photo is what opens the porch.
From there the buyer accepts or reports a problem. If they do neither, the sale completes on its own 24 hours after the pickup day ends, and they are warned roughly four hours before that.
A porch deal with no photo never completes on its own. Money does not move on silence with nothing to show for it.
