How do I approve something my AI app asks to do?
Updated October 30, 2026
When your app asks to do something other people would see, Clutter holds the request until you decide. Open the link the app gives you, or find the request under Requests & Drafts on Connected Apps.
Approving
1. Open the request. The page is called Review App Request. It shows the connection's name, the account, and every detail of what will happen: a message word for word, a listing with its photos, the dates offered.
2. Check it. What you approve is exactly what runs; the app can't change it afterwards.
3. Press Approve This Action, or Reject.
If Clutter asks you to sign in again, use "Verify Sign-In & Staff Authenticator" on the same page, then press Approve This Action again.
Purchases
A purchase opens a Review Purchase page instead, with the item, the tax and the total. Tick "I accept these purchase terms and approve this exact total.", press Approve Purchase, then Continue This Checkout and authorize your card.
Things to know
- A request waits 30 minutes. After that it expires; ask the app for a fresh one.
- If the item, the conversation or your account changes before you approve, or you change the connection's permissions, the request can no longer run. Ask the app for a fresh one.
- An app can have up to 20 requests waiting at once. It has to wait for your decisions before asking for more.
- If a request stays In Progress, press Check & Retry This Action. It checks the same request and never does it twice.
- Charity accounts approve post publishing and profile changes the same way. Staff accounts also need an authenticator code.
