How do we stop emails from Clutter Sale?
Updated October 30, 2026
Any of these works:
- Press the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our email. A page asks "Stop emails from Clutter Sale?". Press Unsubscribe, and you will see "You're unsubscribed".
- Use your mail app's own unsubscribe button, where it shows one.
- Reply to our email asking to be removed.
What it stops
- Every email to your organization about Clutter Sale, at that address and at the address we have for your charity.
- The follow-up emails, straight away.
- Our messages about money waiting for you.
What it doesn't stop
- Receipts and account emails, if you have an account with us.
- The money itself. Anything held for your charity stays yours, and you can claim it whenever you like; see "How do we claim our charity's page and the money set aside for us?"
Why the link asks you to press a button
Some organizations' email systems open every link in an email to check it. Asking for a press means a checker can't unsubscribe you by accident.
Writing from a different address
Reply to our email itself, or use its link. A request sent to us any other way is read by a person before anything changes, because we have to be sure it came from you.
