How do we agree on a pickup day?

Scheduling opens once the buyer has paid, and who proposes depends on the pickup type. For a porch pickup the buyer proposes the day; for an in-person meetup — at the seller's home or at a public spot — the seller does. Whoever is travelling picks.

The proposing side offers one to three days, up to five days ahead counting today. Each day can carry a time window — 9 am to 12 pm, 12 to 3 pm, 3 to 6 pm, or 6 to 9 pm — or be left as any time that day.

The other side accepts one of the days. Accepting locks the day, and for a meetup the spot, together.

Reminders follow what was agreed. With a chosen window, both sides are reminded a day out, then 90 minutes and 60 minutes before it starts. With no window, the reminder comes at 8 am the day before and 8 am on the day itself. Nothing rings in the middle of the night, and nothing rings once the window has already started.

Every clock hangs off midnight in the pickup's own time zone, worked out from the listing's location, not off the server's clock.

Reporting a problem pauses scheduling until it is resolved.
